And I thought we were going to announce more good news, but boy, were we wrong.

I so wish this could be a post filled with good news;
news announcing a Baby Brownie, but it's not.

I posted this on Facebook:

There are really bad people in this world. Let's start with the guy who pretended to be a birth mom and her attorney (over email and the phone) sent us 3D u/s photos of the baby and told us we were the ones. Called this "fake" baby ours. Cruel and heartless. And after calling this scammer out, he sent me a text: "good luck getting your baby, you infertile bitch."

What happened exactly?
A girl named, "Jessica", found our online profile.
We emailed back and forth.
We sent her a month to month cell phone so we could speak and
this is when things no longer added up.
Jessica was a guy.
Calling to pretend to be her attorney.
Then calling back to pretend to be Jessica.
Quite comical, actually.

Unfortunately, I bought a few onesies after thinking we were adopting the baby boy below:

(fake photo from the scammer)

This is all I will write for now.
We were duped for 3 days and we are lucky that was it.

One day we will get a baby. Right?
Does anyone know this answer?
I dunno but I hope and yearn.
And the pain over the last 4 years of loss and still no baby, hurts deeply.

Love,
Summer

And so it begins...

See the below couple?
Yeah, that is us.
Sum and Ad.

Well, we were . . .

. . . approved by the co-op board to buy the apartment in the West Village!!!!!

APPROVED!

Now we have to search for the perfect mortgage, find an architect to help us renovate the kitchen, bathroom and a few others small details and then move in when our lease is up here in South Street Seaport.

Pinterest -- here I come to pin away "ideas for the home"!

Maybe 61 is our lucky number???

{Our new place???}

We have exciting news and need some good vibes sent our way.
We are applying to purchase our first home together in the West Village, here in NYC.
It's been stressful and we still have a ways to go to complete and get approved by the Co-Op board, so your thoughts, prayers, rain dances and good energy are all welcome.
EEEEKKKK!
